Are you drinking water?
Some people can just guzzle it down but often a lot of us forget to drink this fantastic stuff!
Personally for me – if I don’t have a bottle of water with me then I will forget!! You can get all sizes of bottles now – 500ml, 600ml, 750ml, 1L – all the way up to 5L bottles!!
Why is water so good for us though?
1. Aids in digestion – we are not going to feel all bunged up!!
2. Helps keep your skin clear
3. Helps control your weight – we often confuse feeling thirsty with hunger – and opt for a bar of choccie instead of a glass of water
4. Reduces headaches!!
5. Helps fight infections
6. Improves mood and energy
These are just few of the benefits but there are many more!!
How much should we drink though?
A simple equation is to divide your weight in KG by 30.
So if you weigh 60kg – you should be drinking 2L.
Though remember if you are exercising you will be losing more water so you want to be drinking more water around your workouts 😊
There is no excuses not to drink it because it is free and comes from the tap. Yes tap water is absolutely fine to drink!
